Short answer
Apple does not provide a separate AirPods control app. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, AirPods settings are built into the operating system, while Find My handles supported location features. Android can use AirPods as Bluetooth headphones but does not receive every Apple feature.
Use Settings for controls
When AirPods are connected to an iPhone or iPad, their controls appear in Settings. Available controls depend on the AirPods model and software version, so a feature described for one model may not appear on another.
Use Find My for supported location features
Apple directs users to Find My to view the current or last known location, play a sound and use other supported recovery features. The exact options depend on the AirPods model and whether Find My was enabled before the device was lost.
Android provides basic Bluetooth use
Apple documents pairing AirPods with Android and other non-Apple devices as Bluetooth headphones. Listening and calls work, but Siri and some Apple-specific setup, switching and Find My features are unavailable or limited. Third-party companion apps cannot reproduce every system feature.
