Is TripIt free?
Yes. TripIt has an ongoing free itinerary plan. Forward flight, hotel or car-rental confirmations to plans@tripit.com to organize your bookings. You can share plans, sync a calendar and access saved reservation details offline. The paid Pro trial is separate from this free plan.
How much does TripIt Pro cost?
The official website lists TripIt Pro at $49 USD per year and offers a 30-day trial. The developer’s US iOS description instead lists $48.99 per year with automatic renewal. These are different purchase channels, not two prices for a monthly plan. Confirm the currency, final charge and renewal terms where you subscribe.
What does Pro add?
Pro adds flight-status alerts, check-in and gate reminders, alternative-flight suggestions, reward-program tracking and interactive airport navigation. The free plan allows three document uploads per trip; Pro allows 25. Airport navigation coverage is limited, so check your airports before paying for that feature.
Should you start with the free plan?
Start free if your main need is keeping reservations together and reading them during your trip. Consider Pro when live flight updates or the higher document allowance solve a specific problem for you. Eligible SAP Concur users may already receive Pro through their employer; check eligibility before buying a separate subscription.
